Research interests
Daniele is a PhD candidate in Law at the University of Bristol. Her research focuses on the UK Online Safety Act, with particular attention to freedom of expression and the moderation of content of democratic importance or journalistic nature. Her supervisors are Professor Gavin Phillipson and Dr Katarzyna Kryla-Cudna.
Her research interests lie broadly at the intersection of law and technology, particularly regarding the regulation of digital platforms, data protection, and cybersecurity, and how these areas interact with contract law, human rights, and constitutional law.
Daniele holds a master's degree in Civil and Business Law from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Her dissertation on cyberinsurance contracts and data protection in the digital age was published as a book by Editora Thoth in 2025 (in Portuguese).
